The common thread across all generative AI is that these systems create outputs that did not exist before, based on patterns learned from training data. They are not copying existing content. They are generating new content that is statistically similar to what they were trained on.

What AI Can Do Well

AI excels at specific categories of tasks, and understanding these helps you identify where AI can genuinely help you.

Pattern recognition. AI is superb at finding patterns in large datasets. This includes recognizing objects in images, detecting fraud in financial transactions, identifying diseases in medical scans, and spotting trends in business data.
